How do I clear my recent searches on Facebook?

 

To clear your recent searches:

1. Click the search bar at the top to see your recent searches
2. Click Edit in the top right of the dropdown menu
3. Click Clear Searches in the top right, then click to confirm

Note: If your searches still appear after taking these steps, you may have to log out out of Facebook. When you log back in, your searches will be cleared.

When you search for something on Facebook, your search history helps us show you better results when you search. Remember, only you can see your searches.
